Age verification that doesn't slow your store down

Put an age gate on your storefront in a few minutes — and keep the page speed you already paid for.

• Nothing to fetch before it appears. Your popup's settings are rendered straight into the page by your theme, so nothing has to load before the gate can show. No loading flash, no layout shift, no moment where a visitor sees the page behind. All it loads is two small static files from Shopify's own CDN — 1.8 KB of CSS and 2.9 KB of JavaScript, gzipped, with no third-party scripts and no external fonts. On pages you haven't gated, it loads nothing at all.
• Ask the right question. A yes/no gate, a confirmation checkbox, or a full date of birth — with a different minimum age per country across 20 markets, and translated copy in 15 languages.
• Make it look like your store. Colours, fonts, logo, wording and animation from the editor; custom CSS, custom HTML and custom JS when you want to build the whole thing yourself.
